Here are a few of our favourites pieces that have been featured in the press and photoshoots.
Blissfully Comfortable…Luscious prints- We had to share this write up of our sleep masks
Visit the FT’s How To Spend It here and say hello to all the sleep masks here
After a career in theatre design, haute couture (working for Catherine Walker) and then a stint as an accessories designer, Sophie Barnard went back to the drawing board – quite literally – and back to her real passion, print. She has created beautiful hand-designed patterns that she then applies to a collection of loungewear and accessories, including these beautifully made silk eye masks (£35). They are currently available in seven different silk prints and all can be personalised with an embroidered monogram (from £20 per letter). Each Longstaff Longstaff mask is lightweight and blissfully comfortable, with a generous shape, pretty quilting and a gathered silk band to gently keep it in situ.
Barnard’s luscious prints echo her passion for the highly decorative English and Russian patterns of the late-19th and early-20th centuries – the rich illustrations of Ivan Bilibin and Léon Bakst, folk embroidery and the lush designs of William Morris. Her floral prints can be co-ordinated or mixed and matched – Barnard also makes silk robes (from £495), pyjamas (shirts £205, trousers £195, shorts £139), slips (from £295) and even notebooks (from £20). All materials are sourced and manufactured in the UK and she worked with shirtmaker Sean O’Flynn to perfect the cut of her pyjamas – the immaculate finish is testament to her thorough attention to detail.

Snakes Pocket Square

Who said pocket squares were just for men? We loved seeing this one styled as a neckerchief and they are great worn round the wrist too.
The Glass Hearts Print
New for Autumn/Winter 2017, the glass hearts print has been an absolute joy to create. Using ink, pens and a very sharp scalpel, the leaves and hearts were all painted separately and then layered and arranged to overlap and entwine into a fantasy jungle.
Lacewing Chemise
Bonnie Akhit from www.thestyletraveller.com looked amazing in The Cayman Islands in our Lacewing silk chemise – pure sunshine in silk.
The butterfly detailing was created using vintage lace – painted and then pressed into the design. “Lacewing” reflects both the design process and one of our favourite butterflies.
You can view and buy the entire Lacewing range in our shop
Royal Paisley Robe
Both Grazia and Gala Magazine in Germany loved our Royal Paisley robe in their blog about the wonderful kimono. We’ve been fans of robes &
kimonos for years and it’s lovely to see them recognising how brilliant they are too.
Our long robe is printed and then made to order by our amazing team of printers and seamstresses. The process takes approximately 6 weeks so please let us know if your life will only be complete once you have one, and we will do the rest.
Lotus Print
We did this shoot last spring but what a great shoot it was. Claire looked fabulous in the robe, oozing sophisticated idleness. Here are some of our favourites from the day.
The Lotus print is one of our most popular. It was inspired by Chinese embroidery and the extraordinary needlework that produces such breathtaking gradation of colour within leaves and petals. Using a single bottle of ink, with varying intensities of pigment on the brush, the embroidery was echoed by the subtle fading of one tone into another.
