Hooray, it’s 2018, and we do like a date with an even number.
The past year was a whirlwind of sales, new collections and products, shows and collaborations and there’s lots more to come. Our subscribers will be first to know about where we’ll be popping up and collaborations with some brilliant British brands so sign up if you want to be in the know.
We love styling silk for winter. Mixing textures and different weights of fabric gives so many opportunities to wear silk in the day. The kimono trend that started in the summer is staying strong so mixing the robe with denim and flats (how pleased are we that Valentino’s Rockstuds now come as flats!) will work beautifully.
We’ve put the Glass Hearts robe with High-Rise Ankle crop skinny jeans by RE/DONE and Valentino’s Rockstud ballerina pumps for relaxed glamour.
Silk trousers can work anytime and this spring is going be full of ice cream pastels. Get ahead of the curve and try mixing the peppermint trousers with knitwear such as the Deborah ribbed wool sweater by Acne Studios and The Row’s Eros shearling ankle boot that’s as cosy as a slipper. Add a skinny Buttercup neck scarf (available at our pop ups or email us) and finish it off with Sara Hartley‘s stunning platinum, diamond set, Triple ring.
And finally, red is not just for Christmas! One of our favourite colour combinations is red and pale blue as used on the Royal Paisley collection. Tory Birch has done a fabulous red oversized turtleneck, Eva, and for some properly cool winter boots, look no further than Burberry’s white lace-up leather ankle boots. Our skinny scarves can be used as hair ties, belts, wrist bands and neck ties and the Royal Paisley print brings the look together.
