This month we’ve had lots more photo shoots, revealed SS18 at Scoop London, launched a new line in silk scarves and revamped our website. So only quite busy.
Shoots
It turns out that our silk robes have been seen in all the right places during this summer’s kimono love-in. Vogue Germany featured our kimono robes, tunics and shorts and Glamour Magazine listed the Buttercup robe in the top Kimonos that are Sassy as Hell. Hello! Fashion Monthly’s August edition did a feature on the hottest satin which included our long robe in Royal Paisley and indie magazine Liike included our indigo silk shorts in a beautiful smokey shoot. You can keep up with all our press here
We were thrilled that Kate Tik took our special edition silk ditsy Lacewing chemise on holiday with her to the beautiful Castle Panigirakis. We wish we could be there too, that view is quite something (as is her breakfast). Take a look on Instagram
Scoop!
Scoop London is a fashion trade show with a difference. It’s held at the Saatchi Gallery, off Kings Road in Chelsea with all the art in situ so there’s a fantastic vibe of being part of the exhibition. The current show is From Selfie to Self Expression. As Mark Brown in The Guardian writes – It is a show that includes painstakingly executed self-portraits by Rembrandt, Van Gogh, and Frida Kahlo, as well as rather more spontaneous selfie portraits by Kim Kardashian, Tom Cruise and a macaque monkey from the Indonesian island of Sulawesi.
It’s the first time we’ve shown at a Womenswear show – we’re usually part of the lingerie crowd, but we thought we’d experiment because the loungewear as day wear trend is still so strong. We’re so glad we went – we were introduced to a whole new section of buyers and customers and were featured by the Scoop magazine and Fashion United so SS18 has got off to a great start!
