What’s your passion? These are two of my favourite Longstaff Longstaff family photos. It might be a bit chilly to start thinking about wild swimming but these two pictures give a little narrative of a passionate love story. ( It is February after all!)
The chalk rivers near their home in Wiltshire were favourite swimming places for the seven sisters. Everyone was expected to join in and the man in his trunks strolling through the rushes would marry one of the swimmers soon after, in the spring of 1936
So, in these cold winter months, embrace your own love stories and passions, whether that be for a person, for creating, seeing or doing…
Our passion is pattern.
All our print designs are done in our studio using combinations of painting, drawing, printing and cut outs . I love being in the studio at his time of year. There’s so much going on; new designs emerging, experimenting with colour combinations and shapes. And we all need a splash of colour right now.
Royal Paisley Collection
We cannot wait for this collection to land at our online shop. It’s perfect for brightening up any gloomy winter.
Just a little bit of retro
Our silk shorts are designed to sit just below the waistline but they are not low cut. In fact, they have a slightly retro feel. The waistband does not have a drawstring bow that adds lumps just where we want to look smooth, but a beautifully soft waistband that lies flat against your body.
Our super luxury, long silk robe, still with the ingenious wrap around tie, is made to order. Let us know that you’re passionate about it and we’ll print it and make it just for you.
Happy Valentine’s Day xxx
