Start the evening in a silk robe
Longstaff Longstaff are long time fans of all that glisters we love it that Strictly Come Dancing is back! Saturday evening starts in a silk robe watching the glittery world of Strictly Come Dancing. We’re not ashamed to say that we have a yearning to learn an Argentine Tango, the Foxtrot, but most of all, the Quick Step. Ever danced a tango in a silk robe? You’ll be ready for any party, anywhere.
Strictly Come Dancing is Back
The witty and charming Claudia Winkleman was heard to say that she wasn’t a huge fan of tight dresses so we sent the beautiful Lotus Silk Tunic and matching Lotus Indigo Silk Shorts for her to wear in her dressing room. We had to contain our excitement when she said that she’d rather wear a free flowing pyjama tunic than a tight dress! Just waiting to hear from Tess and Darcey! (and maybe Bruno?)
Wear it to relax or wear it out, the silk tunic is a winner
Like Claudia, we love a tunic; they are so versatile. It’s wonderful worn with the silk shorts or for the full on silk experience, wear it with the long, flat fronted pyjama trousers. But the tunic can be worn with other trousers or jeans and looks great tucked in with the silk belt pulled through the trouser belt loops.
The Longstaff Longstaff Lotus Silk Tunic makes a great top to wear out. I like to pair it with Current/Elliot’s The Stiletto mid rise skinny jeans, Chloé Susanna studded velvet ankle boots and a pair of i + i Tusk earrings. Most recently I wore when we went to see the fantastic Georgia O’Keeffe exhibition at Tate Modern. It was such a fresh take on her work. Her huge flowers are justifiably famous but there is so much more to discover. I found the charcoal studies of Eagle Claw and Bean Necklace and Ram’s Horn II hauntingly beautiful.
